Thanks again for a great post...Pete Chapmanhttp://petechapman-internetmarketer.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7241057393602065840.post-28042584336622841172011-02-24T01:58:54.471+11:002011-02-24T01:58:54.471+11:00I had a great time in the British hotel back in 19...I had a great time in the British hotel back in 1976 being there with the Nedlloyd for a whole week, before containers took out all the fun of being in the merchand navyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7241057393602065840.post-45219023452697283602008-01-02T11:18:00.000+11:002008-01-02T11:18:00.000+11:00Probably because of the general atmosphere of para...Probably because of the general atmosphere of paranoia infecting Sydney Christian circles, the trolls around here don't post on the blog like they do on Mad Priest's site - it's too public.

I'm undecided about trolls per se: I still want to believe their rants are a kind of desperate cry for recognition and acceptance by the people they're attacking. The anonymous (and unreplyable) emails are less so, because they don't offer any meaningful opportunity to eventually develop a dialogue. I compare them to rude words yelled from a passing car - and the mentality of the person responsible is probably the same.Alcibiadeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13132420102550256958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7241057393602065840.post-33072332032768164732008-01-02T05:53:00.000+11:002008-01-02T05:53:00.000+11:00Mad Priest has a "do not feed the trolls" sign. When Jesus called people "vipers" and "whited sepulchres"," he had the courage to do it to their faces....

I use my nom de net for posting, but if I was going to send you an ugly e-mail, I'd sign my full, legal name. Last year I detoured from the Lyttelton bus to the Gondola (have I told you I am scared of heights so many prayers were uttered :_). Perhaps next visit. Yes I am afraid smug churchgoers could learn a lot if they ventured out of their safety zones.Brian Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10802352695666737088noreply@blogger.com
